German Miniature Wall Clock

A handsomely proportioned German wall clock dating to the early 1890s. Having an expertly crafted case of rich walnut with a broken pediment crest and hand-crafted embellishments to include turned and carved columns and finials. Brass ormolu adorn the case throughout lending a nice contrast to the warm patina of the wood.

Keeping the time within is an 8-day time-only movement that has a gridiron-style pendulum with an R&A beaded medallion bob. The interior of the case is fitted with a beat plaque. Displaying the time on a silvered and engraved dial with Roman numerals and spade and whip hands. The dial is accented with a decorative cast brass center and brass beaded chapter ring.  And finally, this wonderful German wall clock bears a full restoration and a one-year warranty.
