German Animated Acrobat Clock
This German novelty automaton clock crafted by the Junghans Clock Company dates to the turn of the 20th century. The oak architectural case features a Trompe l’oiel, or three dimensional, circus grandstand scene. An automated trapeze artist hovers above the clock face and performs his arial routine in front of an awestruck crowd at will. The action is varied and sporadic creating lifelike automation, sure to wow and astound his audience!
A 30 hour time only balance wheel movement powers this exciting timepiece. This clock is fully restored with a one year warranty.
