High Grade Replica of the Lenzkirch Mermaid Open Well Wall Clock

This marvelous wall clock is a high-grade Czech/German replica of the famous Lenzkirch Mermaid clock. An open well-style regulator, it is beautifully crafted in a walnut case. Skillfully and ornately carved with many impressive architectural characteristics, including a shingled spire top, free-standing columns, a curved balustrade, multiple finials, and drop. Richly embellished with a profusion of fine brass castings throughout. And of course, the namesake for this wonderful clock comes from the trumpet-sounding mermaid atop.

Keeping the time within is an 8-day movement that marks the hour and half-hour on a tuned gong. The time displays on a silvered and engraved dial with Roman numerals, Arabic minute markers, and fancy blued steel regulator hands. An ornate cast brass pendulum bob with a cherub swings below.
