American Arts and Crafts Table Lamp with Slag Glass Panels

This handsome American Arts and Crafts style table lamp has a bronze frame with two swan neck arms. Each arm has a four panel lamp with golden color slag glass.

Slag glass is a pressed glass-like byproduct of iron ore refinement. It typically has brown, tan and yellow colors often with white or cream color swirls. Slag glass was especially popular in the manufacture of lampshades as evidenced by this lovely lamp.
