American E. Howard Nickel Silver Ship’s Clock

This choice ship’s clock was produced by E. Howard & Co. of the Boston, Massachusetts area. Keeping the time within the nickel silver case is a jeweled 8-day mechanical movement stamped 21.  The time displays on a slightly convex white porcelain 4″ dial with Roman numerals, spade hands, and seconds dial. This particular model dates to 1920 and bears a full restoration and one-year warranty.

E. Howard was regarded as a horological leader in high-grade and precision timepieces, favored among avid collectors.
