American Favrile Glass Bowl, Tiffany Studios

A wonderful Favrile glass bowl from the renowned studios of Louis Comfort Tiffany. Expertly blown and formed with various colors meandering through a ground of predominantly gold. Artfully shaped with panels on the bottom giving way to smooth sides and a subtly ruffled rim. The bottom is signed L.C.T. – Favrile , and also has artistic detail at its center.

Mesmerizing Favrile glass is created by adding various colored oxides to molten glass, resulting in a fascinating array of iridescent colors seamlessly blending. This beautiful decorative bowl serves as a testament to the unique artisanal skill of the Tiffany glass studios.
