Art Deco Diamond and Sapphire Navette Ring
A stunning navette ring dating to the fabulous Art Deco era. Navette styling refers to a jewelry contour resembling a marquis, and this lovely example is crafted in gleaming platinum sparkling with diamonds and synthetic sapphires. Radiating at the center is a 0.38 total carat weight mine cut diamond that is accented by four synthetic sapphires. Synthetic sapphires are a common characteristic of Art Deco jewelry, used intentionally for their rich color and clarity. Framing the central stones are 12 Old European cut diamonds that have a combined 0.64 total carat weight. The setting itself boasts intricate open work, fine millegrain detail throughout, and impressive engraving to the shoulders.
This dazzling period ring is currently a size 7.25 and can be resized to suit.
