Chinese Carved Jade Peacocks

This lovely pair of carved jade peacocks exhibit wonderful craftsmanship. Possibly carved from Siberian nephrite jade, the figures display a rich green hue. Each piece wonderfully conveys dimension and detail from the plum of the tail feathers to the animal’s faces. Both pieces sit atop carved wood stands.
