French Anglaise Case Petite Sonnerie Carriage Clock by Kirkpatrick

This handsome carriage clock comes in a fine gilt brass Anglaise case.  The Anglaise case was designed by the French specifically to appeal to the tastes of the British market.  The case is fitted with beveled glass on all sides, as well as beaded decoration, which adds a nice artistic touch.

The eight-day time keeping mechanism of the Petite Sonnerie strikes two tones on a coil gong. The tones indicate the hour, half hour, and quarter hour.  There is also a repeater button to indicate the time at will.    The clean white dial features Roman numbers and blued steel hands.  In addition, the dial is signed “Kirkpatrick” for the retailer.

This clock is restored and comes with a one year warranty.
