French Desk Clock In The Style of Limoges

A charming and unique desk clock. The clock resides in a rich red enameled sphere with lovely polychrome decorations of satyrs and maidens on each side. A 30-hour Swiss mechanical movement keeps the time and is conveniently accessed by opening the front. The time displays on a hand-painted porcelain dial with Roman numerals, two sweet cherub images, and fitted with spade and whip hands. A decorative bezel of alternating red and clear stones adds a bright accent to the dial. In addition, a playful cherub and young satyr frolic atop and alongside the timepiece. Overall displayed on a pretty green onyx base. This delightful timepiece also bears a restoration and a one-year warranty.
