Swiss Ten Tune Cylinder Music Box
This enchanting cylinder music box is the collaboration of two esteemed music box makers of Geneva, Switzerland, Samuel Troll and George Baker. This wonderful musical machine plays ten tunes on two musical combs powered by a double spring movement designed for extended playtime. The instrument resides in a rich burl amboyna case with marquetry inlays and Kingswood cross banding. On the inside lid survives the original tune card. Period artwork and the maker’s letterhead adorn the beautiful card, listing each tune on the cylinder. Further, this music box features a tune counter, allowing the listener to follow along with the titles with ease.
