French Champlevé Enamel Crystal Regulator
This charming crystal regulator dates back to the 19th century and is a lovely example of French clockmaking. Crafted from brass, the case features beveled glass panels and intricate pierced work along the edges, adding lovely dimension. Colorful champlevé enamel adorns each column surviving with exceptional vibrancy. A refined porcelain dial displays the time upon black hand-painted Roman numerals with a sweep center seconds hand. Powering the clock is an 8-day movement with a bell strike on the hour and half-hour and an exposed brocot escapement on the back plate.
This clock bears a full restoration and a one-year warranty.
