French Fancy Gilt Brass Carriage Clock
This elegant French carriage clock dates to the late 1800s and features elegant design and craftsmanship. The cast brass case is appointed with reeded columns at each corner, a scrolling foliate motif, beveled glass panels, and raised on turned feet. Housed within, an 8-day movement with original lever escapement keeps the time.
The time displays on black Arabic numerals with blued steel hands. The silvered chapter ring provides a pleasing contrast to the gilt case and also features pierced decoration over a unique blue dial center.
This lovely timepiece bears a full restoration and a one-year warranty.
