English Cane with Sterling Silver Armored Knight Handle
This dapper English cane dates to the 1920’s when canes and walking sticks were very much in vogue and conveyed social status. Topping this fine example is the bust of an armored knight with shield and crossed pollaxes crafted in sterling silver with extended support. The smooth wood shaft has an ebony finish providing a nice contrast to its sterling topper, and a brass tip on the base adds protection and style.
Walking sticks and canes with their unique and artistic toppers are very popular collectibles and continue to serve as stylish walking aids.
