German Open-Well Wall Clock

This beautiful German open-well wall clock dates to the late 1800s and takes center stage with its commanding presence and captivating design.

The clock is housed in a rich walnut case adorned with expertly turned columns, finials, and accent carvings throughout. A beautiful arched gallery crest surmounts the top giving the clock a dramatic shape.

An 8-day movement powers the clock with a charming bim-bam strike that resonates from two tuned gongs every quarter hour. The clock’s face features a striking silvered dial, showcasing bold Arabic numerals for easy time reading. Enhancing its allure, cast brass ormolu scrollwork graces the corner spandrels and dial arch, with the image of an angel resting above the 12 o’clock position. An ornate cast brass pendulum further adorns the clock featuring a graceful angel motif.

Whether you’re adding to an existing clock collection or looking for a striking piece of decor, this wonderful German wall clock harmoniously blends artistry and timekeeping, making it an eye-catching centerpiece for any space.

This clock bears a complete restoration and carries a one-year warranty.
