This impressive three-plate skeleton clock is powered by a two-train chain fusee movement. Having a running time of eight days and marking the hour with a strike on a tuned gong, and the half-hour with a bright bell strike. The time displays on a silvered chapter ring elaborately pierced with Roman numerals and fleur de lis accents, and blued steel trefoil hands. Elegantly presented on a footed wooden base under a mouth-blown glass dome.
