English Double Dome Hotel Bell
An impressive English double-side plunger-style hotel bell beautifully crafted in cast brass and bronze. A rather distinguished version of the utilitarian call bell with its architectural and symmetrical characteristics. Two bell domes come together to assimilate a sphere which is raised on a columnar pedestal supported by an ornate square four-footed base embellished with foliate medallions. Depressing the plunger causes the clappers to strike the dome bells. A fabulous piece for display or to add to a collection.
Antique call bells are unique decoratives crafted in a variety of bell mechanisms, styles, and motifs. Not only are they great fun to collect and display, they are still very useful for their intended purpose.
