18K Yellow Gold Double Cabochon Jadeite Jade Necklace
Jadeite represents the rarer and more valuable member of the jade family.
Cabochon cut stones do not have facets but are smoothly rounded instead. Typically only half the stone get the smooth dome while the back remains flat. A double cabochon cut, where the entire stone gets rounded, is not as prevalent and therefore rarer.
This stunning 18K yellow gold drop necklace has five oval double cabochon cut jadeite jade. It also features one teardrop shaped center jadeite stone. Delicate custom gold wires with small solid gold circles and a gold bead underneath, envelop the jadeite stone dangles.
