French Two Singing Birds Automaton in Gilded Cage
The French automaton features two birds singing, flapping their wings, and moving their heads and beaks, all automatically. Each bird sits atop a perch inside a gilded metal bird cage on a gilt wooden base. Real bird feathers add to the lifelike quality of the birds.
A spring wound clockwork mechanism, located in the base, drives the animation and song. The mechanism also features sliding whistles and a series of cams and levers that create realistic sounds. This automaton comes with a one-year warranty.
