English 18K Tri-Gold Open Face Pocket Watch by M.K. Johnson of Liverpool
This early 19th-century pocket watch by M.K. Johnson of Liverpool features a superbly executed 18K gold case. Delicate engravings embellish the perimeter of the bezel up to the crown. Further, refined engine-turned patterns accent the dial and case back. Multi-color gold in hues of rose, white, and shades of yellow adorn the dial, creating a floral wreath around the border, with a floral bouquet drawing attention to the dial center. The time displays on beautifully contrasting rose gold Roman numeral markers with a subsidiary seconds dial.
A key-wind and key-set chain fusee movement powers this opulent timepiece, which bears a complete restoration and a one-year warranty. This watch survives with its original presentation box.
