14K Yellow Gold Art Nouveau Lapel Pin Watch

This charming Art Nouveau era lapel watch evokes such nostalgic sophistication.  Displaying one’s watch in this fashion was very popular for women well into the mid 1900’s.  This watch is in a 14K yellow gold case.  The dial has a very clean look with stylized Arabic numerals and delicate serpentine hands.  In addition, the dial is signed, “Spaulding & Co., Paris.”  The back of the case is a bit more dramatic with winged dragons, blue enameling and a central 0.10 carat round diamond.  Further, the artwork of the back carries over to the lapel pin as well.
