American And German Jeweler’s Regulator Wall Clock
This incredible jeweler’s regulator wall clock is a marvelous example of high precision of clockmaking. Clocks of this caliber were crafted to attain the highest accuracy possible, often needing to meet several areas of criteria to obtain a jeweler’s regulator classification. The majority of jeweler’s regulators are time-only clocks ensuring nothing else interferes with the time train and affects the timekeeping. This lovely clock is no exception and boasts an 8-day time only movement. A temperature compensating gridiron pendulum further adds to the clock’s precision, keeping any fluctuations in temperature from affecting accuracy. The time displays on a porcelain dial with black Roman numerals and sweep center seconds.
The German timepiece is encased in a stylish American-made oak case. The lovely design features clean lines with an elegant swan neck crown and delicate engravings are the border and corners.
