American Castor Set with Ruby Bottles by Meriden
A stunning American castor set with wonderful embellishments. Another fine set by Meriden featuring condiment containers with ruby overlay dramatically cut to clear glass. The shakers and mustard pot are appointed with sterling silver tops, and the mustard pot also has a sterling spoon. All are fitted in a beautiful silver plated pedestal stand with repousse and hand chasing. Further, the stand displays the wonderful Aesthetic Movement characteristics of birds, roses, sunflowers, and other flora. A beautiful and artistic piece of a gracious past and also perfectly practical.
