American Glass Owl Novelty Lamp

A delightful and very collectible owl novelty lamp crafted by the Tiffin glass factory in Tiffin, Ohio. Tiffin operated as an entity of the United States Glass Company conglomerate and was one of only a few able to survive the Great Depression. These little lamps were very popular as decorative lighting accents in the 1920s and 1930s, especially those in animal form. This great example of an owl maintains its original black glass base and stands about 8 inches tall overall. Having a subtle natural coloration when unlit, or a charming pleasant glow when lit. Further, this highly collectible vintage lighting and accent piece has been fully restored and rewired.
