American Large Needlepoint

A wonderful wool needlepoint pastoral scene.  The colors are warm, rich, and vibrant.  Featured in the center, a stag and hind deer on either side of a tree with singing bird.  A finer stitch and floss provide nice dimension to the animals.  In the background, a windmill and church.  Beautifully worked in floral details throughout.  Mounted nicely in a gilt wood frame.
