American Pair of Renaissance Revival Claret Jugs

This striking pair of Renaissance Revival claret jugs features cast pewter over peridot colored glass.  Beautifully fitted with elaborate scroll handle, pouring spout, stopper, and a raised base.   Wonderful detailed decoration includes dolphins, sculpted faces and sirens, swag and scrolling fretwork details, and of course grapes and vines.  A beautiful pair and in excellent condition.
