American Pickle Castor with Clear Swirl Glass

This lovely Victorian era pickle castor features a clear swirl patterned glass jar. Displayed in a decorative stand and also fitted with ornate tongs. The hand chased silver plate frame depicts a botanical theme of graceful florals and leaves. Elegant and practical, the pickle castor is a wonderful and unique piece of the American Victorian past.
