American Regina Double Comb 15 1/2″ Disc Music Box
In the late 19th and early 20th century, the Regina Music Box Company distinguished itself as the foremost American manufacturer of the disc music box.
This attractive music box has a quarter sawn oak case with a serpentine shape. The Regina logo, surrounded by cherubs and vines, is attached to the underside of the lid.
The spring wound music box plays 15 1/2″ discs on a double comb. A double comb provides a richer sound by striking twice as many notes. Furthermore, the 15 1/2″ disc was and still is the most widely available size.
The music box comes with a one year warranty. Finally, six antique discs come with the music box.
