American Victor Model VTLA Console Phonograph
This American Victor console phonograph is a marvelous testament to early home entertainment. This lovely musical machine resides in a floor-standing case crafted of beautiful quarter-sawn oak displaying rich and dramatic grain. An internal horn at the cabinet’s center acoustically amplifies the sound beautifully. This clever design situates the amplification horn behind two doors at the front of the cabinet that can be opened or closed, providing the user with convenient and practical volume control.
In addition, the machine features a tempo control dial along with convenient reservoirs for storing needles. The bottom and sides of the case house ample storage for records. A spring-wound mechanism powers this phonograph, which spins at 78 RPMs.
This phonograph bears a restoration and a one-year warranty.
