American Victor Model VI 78 RPM Phonograph
This Victor model VI is an example of the American Victor Company’s top phonograph model of the early 1900s. The rich Honduran mahogany case houses Victor’s most advanced and largest spring-wound motor, allowing for more extended playtime. Gold plated trim, and carved Corinthian column accents adorn the case, an indicator of the embellishments only available in Victor’s top models.
Furthermore, this phonograph boasts a beautiful spearpoint wood horn, Victor’s highest quality and the most expensive horn option of the day. Named for the spear-like points carved into the wood, these horns were challenging to produce and are among the most highly collectible today.
This phonograph bears a complete restoration and a one-year warranty.
