American Walking Stick with Carved Bone Dog Handle
The American walking stick dates to the turn of the 20th century and is a wonderful fusion of artistry and functionality. The carved bone handle in this example portrays the elongated bust of a snarling dog fitted with glass eyes. Expert craftsmanship is portrayed in the laid back ears, bared teeth, and musculature.
