Chinese Pair of Hand Painted Large Porcelain Palace Vases

This hand painted pair of monumental porcelain palace vases features the Canton Famille Rose motif. Delicate pink roses, birds, butterflies and other flowers  provide a delicate contrast to the large size. Canton Famille Rose, first designed in the 18th century, remains expertly recreated today. The vases sit on decorative wooden bases.
