Continental School Oil on Canvas Landscape

A 19th Century Continental School painting titled “Drying the Wash by the River.” Depicting a bucolic landscape scene  with a woman tending her laundry beside a glassy reflective river. The river is edged with rocks and flora amid surrounding woodlands and birch type trees. This lovely painting is indistinctly signed at the lower right and resides in a lovely gilt wood frame.
