English Chinese Chippendale Bracket Clock
Chinese Chippendale represented a popular clock style of the mid nineteenth century.
This English made mahogany bracket clock was designed in this manner. Consequently, the pagoda top and carved lattice work shows this Chinoise architectural style.
The silvered dial has Roman numerals. A round brass foliate design centers the dial. A brass frame encircles the convex crystal. Furthermore, the dial is signed A & H Rowley 180 Grays Inn Rd London.
A double fusee chain drive powers the eight day movement. The movement is two train and strikes on a gong on the hour. This clock is fully restored and comes with a one year warranty.
