English Mahogany Bracket Clock With Hand Engraved Brass Dial

A very handsome English bracket clock in a beautifully proportioned mahogany case. Expertly crafted with a stepped and inverted basket top appointed with a handle and 4 pineapple finials at each corner. The case with finely fluted canted front corners and raised on a gilt brass base with splayed bracket feet. Also with a shaped gilt outlined glass door and conforming spandrels on the front and lovely shaped gilt side frets. An exquisitely hand-engraved brass dial in the Ellicott style features an engraved and silvered Roman numeral chapter ring with fleur de lis accents and fine fleur de lis hands.

Within, an 8-day 2-train fusee movement keeps the time and strikes a tuned gong at the hour and half-hour. And finally, this fantastic clock bears a full restoration and one-year warranty.
