English Saint James Palace Skeleton Clock

A beautifully cast Queen Elizabeth I stands at the entrance of the iconic Saint James Palace in this exquisite skeleton clock. Expertly crafted by Evans of Handsworth, renowned for producing some of the finest and most complex skeleton clocks. The infamous Saint James Palace was the former residence of kings and queens prior to Buckingham Palace. It has and continues to host many significant functions and events.

This impressive three-plate skeleton clock is powered by a two-train chain fusee movement. Having a running time of eight days and marking the hour with a strike on a tuned gong, and the half-hour with a bright bell strike. The time displays on a silvered chapter ring elaborately pierced with Roman numerals and fleur de lis accents, and blued steel trefoil hands. Elegantly presented on a footed wooden base under a mouth-blown glass dome.

This highly desirable skeleton clock bears a full restoration and comes with a one-year warranty.
