English Single Train Fusee Skeleton Clock
This fabulous English skeleton clock is truly a unique marvel. Crafted from polished brass, this expertly designed clock features a single train fusee 8-day mechanism signed “B. Parker, Bury.” The timepiece features a full backplate movement with a shield plate and bridges in front. A distinctive large pierced round dial sits in front of the movement displaying the time on radial Arabic numerals and heart-shaped blued steel hands.
This unusual skeleton clock style was first created by the famed clockmaker John Pace of Bury St. Edmunds, England. Benjamin Parker and John Pace were working partners, both using this unique and distinctive clock design.
This clock bears a complete restoration and a one-year warranty.
