French 18th Century Wooden Ecclesiastical Candlestick

The large, carved wooden floor candlestick features beautiful Baroque characteristics. Three decoratively  curved sections comprise the candlestick column and have graduated widths from top to bottom. The central column also has carved foliate designs. It has a flat top with a small recess to hold a candle. The original silver leaf finish covers the entire structure. Finally, scrolled tripod feet support the candlestick.
