French Bronze Bust of a Woman

A beautiful bronze sculpture depicting a lovely young Victorian woman. Cast in a bust form with the subject in a ruffled, off-the-shoulder garment with lacing detail. Her hair is elegantly upswept and fastened with a bow. Excellent artistic details are observed throughout, from her demure smile to the swirling garment and stylized base. Bearing a warm glowing patina, prominently signed “Eug. Marioton” and foundry stamped Colin of Paris.
