French Cast Brass Mantel Clock with Cherubs
This enchanting French mantel clock has been beautifully crafted in cast brass. So many wonderful details adorn the case with a pair of doves atop, graceful swag trim to the base, and supporting hairy paw feet. Further, the clock is charmly flanked by two patinated bronze cherubs outfitted in battle gear. Within, an 8-day movement keeps the time and strikes a bell at the hour and half-hour. The time displays on a convex porcelain dial with Arabic numerals and pierced scroll hands. Signed by Black, Starr & Frost, known for being America’s first fine jeweler established in 1810. And finally, this clock bears a full restoration and a one-year warranty.
