French Finely Detailed Opera Glasses

A lovely pair of antique opera glasses by Le Mieux of Paris in gilt brass and polychrome enamel. The barrels and folding handle are a vibrant cobalt blue decorated with finely detailed florals and tiny silver stars. The eyepieces are mother-of-pearl and signed Le Mieux, Paris.  Not only are these beautiful opera glasses charming collectibles from a bygone era, they are still in use today.
