French Four Dial Lighthouse Form Clock
This wonderful French lighthouse form clock displays the time on all four sides. Cleverly and artistically carved in oak with great details. The 4-panel cupola is fitted with a turned finial atop which matches the tiny terminals appointing the four corners of the gallery. The body is carved to resemble stone blocks, and is raised on a stepped base. Two different 3″ dial styles display the time on porcelain — one with Roman numerals and signed by Henri Marc (Paris), and the other with Arabic numerals in both 12- and 24-hour formats. All of the dials are fitted with blued steel Breguet-style hands and reside under glass within marine-style brass bezels.
An early 8-day timepiece movement keeps the time by means of the original jeweled lever platform escapement. Further, this terrific clock bears a full restoration and a one-year warranty.
