What a stunning example of an 18th century French Boulle bracket clock! The clock case features red tortoise shell with brass inlay; key characteristics of Boulle work. The clock dial is engraved gilt brass with cobalt blue porcelain cartouche Roman numerals. Gilt bronze cherubs, ormolu and feet further enhance the overall beauty of the case. Finally, the bracket that supports the clock carries forward all the same striking design elements.
The two train eight day movement strikes on a bell on the hour and half hour. The clock comes with a one year warranty.
