French Mother-of-Pearl and Brass Pocket Watch Stand

A clever and unique way to showcase and protect a pocket watch. A work of art on its own, this pocket watch stand is crafted in brass and Mother-of-pearl. The brass case bands have nice beading and twist details, while the ribbon form and shell inset feet have engravings and applied leaf details. The Mother-of-pearl exhibits lovely iridescence and lustre.  A push latch at the top opens the case. Also there are hooks on the back that may be intended for cufflinks. Finally the stand is mounted on an oval marble base.
