French Patinated Bronze Group

A charming patinated bronze group depicting two cherubs playfully wrestling with a lioness. The sculpture, after the acclaimed Mathurin Moreau of the famous French sculpting family, displays wonderful details and a nice patina. Bearing the signatures ‘M Moreau’ and ‘Rolland Fdeur Paris L’ as well as a foundry stamp for ‘H. Vissac Ciseleur Paris’. And finally, the sculpture is presented on a beautiful Italian rouge marble oval base.
