French Unusual Square Case Carriage Clock

A French brass carriage clock in an atypical square case of architectural influence.  It has clean elegant lines with subtle molding details and three beveled glass panels. The time displays on an oval silvered dial with engraved bold Roman numerals and bold spade hands. Within, an 8-day mechanical movement keeps the time and marks the hour and half-hour with a pleasant gong strike.
