Girard-Perregaux Pour Ferrari F50 Reference 9025 Perpetual Calendar Wristwatch
Born from the extraordinary eleven-year partnership between Swiss watch manufacturer Girard-Perregaux and Italian racing family Ferrari, this incredible timepiece is a triumph of style and high-complication watchmaking. Founded in 1791, Girard-Perregaux holds a long tradition of high-end engineered watches and haute horology. Par excellence for engineering, aesthetics, and precision, this limited edition automatic perpetual calendar chronograph is no exception.
In 1995, Ferrari celebrated their 50th Anniversary with the launch of the legendary F-50 sports car, producing only 349 vehicles. A year later, Girard-Perregaux released the Reference 9025, a special edition watch dedicated to the momentous car and milestone. Like the car, only 349 watches were initially manufactured, made exclusively available to the 349 owners of F-50 vehicles that came off Ferrari’s production line. The watch commanded such demand that 250 additional pieces were later manufactured for collectors and enthusiasts who weren’t offered the chance to purchase the car, putting the total production count of this incredible watch at only 599.
Exemplary in complication and aesthetics, this timepiece features a case crafted of 18K yellow gold. Within, the watch boasts a 44 jewel caliber 3170-629 automatic movement. The face features a cream dial with gold Arabic hour markers and dauphine hands to display the time. Four subsidiary dials are as follows: moon phase and 24-hour register at the 3 o’clock position; days and 12-hour register at the 6 o’clock position; 4-year cycle and 30-minute register at the 9 o’clock position; date of the month and constant seconds at the 12 o’clock position.
This incredible watch carries an 18-month warranty and presents with its original display box, outer box, and instruction manual.
The Girard-Perregaux signature appears on the case, dial, and movement.
The case measures 40mm across.
