Italian Art Deco Bronze Champagne Girl Sculpture, Ferdinando De Luca
This lovely bronze sculpture depicts a semi-nude flapper girl or champagne girl casually relaxing atop a high stool. The enchanting young beauty wears a cloche hat and loosely draped garment, and holding a champagne glass. Wonderfully evocative of the casual and free-spirited Art Deco period. The sculpture has a rich warm brown patina and a slight green patina to the garments. The black iron high stool has very nice ornamentation as well. The figure bears the signature “F. de Luca” on the derrière.
