Italian Large Pair of Majolica Porcelain Urns
A beautiful and impressive pair of hand-painted Majolica porcelain urns. These large urns are approximately 2-1/2 feet in height and are signed F. Bechroni on the body and the base. Each urn depicts a different castle landscape scene on one side, and both depict the Battle of the Milvian Bridge on the other. The infamous Battle of the Milvian Bridge marks the victory of Constantin for the Roman Empire in the year 312. Further, the urns feature a lovely soft color palette and elaborate coiling snake form handles.
