Jade Mughal Flower Motif Necklace
Crafted in the 1940s, this pendant is a lovely example of Mughal design and showcases a fusion of precious gems and metalwork.
An arrangement of gemstone slices forms a charming floral motif on the facade. Four ruby slices form the petals of a flower, gracing the pendant with a rich crimson hue, while five emerald slices create the form of lush leaves. A single diamond slice, positioned above the bottom emerald, adds a touch of shimmer, mimicking the sparkle of dew-kissed foliage. Lines of 14K gold form vines, lending a sense of organic fluidity and creating a scalloped frame to the scene.
The pendant measures 34mm x 27mm and hangs from a 14K yellow gold 20″ box chain.
